| Walkthrough | After you accept this quest, a group of four new souls will spawn at the stairs down from the Reaper of the Labyrinth and start following your party. At the same time, a group of Mindblade Spectres will also spawn along the way (and in the chamber where the party starts in the Underworld).
Presently, the safest way to do this quest is to clear all the way to the Reaper of the Forgotten Vale (a short walk north of Mayor Alegheri) before taking this quest. There should be a pair of Bladed Aatxes, and then three large groups of Grasping Darknesses along the way. There is also a group of Coldfire Nights and Stalking Nights that comes the way of the statue of Grenth where the reaper is. Destroy the Terrorweb Dryders and speak to the Reaper of the Forgotten Vale and have him teleport you back to the Reaper of the Labyrinth. Take the quest, then teleport back to the Reaper of the Forgotten Vale (therefore the souls will not spawn yet). Backtrack from the Reaper of the Forgotten Vale to the Labyrinth and kill the Mindblade Spectres. When you get to the stairs, the souls will appear and you can safely walk them to Mayor Alegheri for your reward. Warning: Protect the souls at all costs! If one of them is killed, your whole party will die and you have to transfer back to the last outpost you visited. |
